Modelling Flowering and Seasonal Yield Cycles of Oil Palm : Simulation Models for Teaching and Research : OPFLSIM1.0 and 2.0 : Technical Manual

This manual accompanies and explains the use and purpose of two computer simulation models designed reproduce possible flowering and yield behavior of the oil palm  on anode-by-nobe basis. The models are based on endogenous feedback loops postulated to regulate inflorescence and fruit bunch production and hence, they largely ignore external regulatory factors. They are intended mainly for purposes of teaching and research into oil palm behavior, rather then as tools for predicting yield.
