This compendium of test methods is an update of the PORIM Test Methods, which has been utilized by the palm oil industry since 1995. It contains compilation of methods of test for fatty acids, fats in food applications, palm oil products, palm kernel products, soaps and other miscellaneous analysis related to oils and fats. Test methods are adopted from International Standards Organization (ISO), American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) and other associations.
